GAITKeeper – Developing a diagnostic device for targeted lower limb rehabilitation

Behind human movement patterns and external performance metrics (speed, acceleration, weight lifted, etc) lies a more complex performance puzzle featuring biochemical substrate fatigue, central nervous system fatigue, technique breakdown, and compensation mechanisms. Previously, coaches and clinicians could not see or measure what was happening beneath the surface, resulting in incomplete return to sport criteria and incomplete information for programming training plans.
The GAITKeeper allows coaches and clinicians to see inside the muscles and has been described by key opinion leaders as the “missing link” in the performance puzzle.
Our mission is to utilize this data to optimize rehabilitation and athletic training.
